Scholarship options studies in European Cyprus (Republic of Cyprus)
1. Top University Scholarships (Merit-Based)
Most universities in the South give you a discount based on your previous marks (Matric/Inter or Bachelor’s).
University of Nicosia (UNIC):
Academic Merit: You can get 10% to 50% off your tuition fees based on your entry grades.
Continuing Success: If you maintain a high GPA (3.5+) while studying there, your scholarship can increase or stay active for the next year.
UCLan Cyprus (University of Central Lancashire):
International Bursary: Many international students automatically get a £1,000 to £3,000 discount.
Academic Excellence: If you have high marks, you can get up to 50% off your fees.
2. Government & Foundation Grants
Cyprus State Scholarship Foundation: This is a government body that offers grants to “third-country” (non-EU) students.
Value: Usually €3,000 per year for Bachelor’s and €4,000 per year for Master’s.
Requirement: High academic performance and sometimes a “need-based” assessment (proving you need financial help).
